July 24 & 25
THIRTY EIGHTH ANNUAL

AG CHALLENGE !

The Ag Challenge Game included questions submitted by nine exhibitors: USDA-NRCS, HDOA Plant Quarantine Branch, O'ahu RC&D/HACD, 4-H Livestock Tent, Pioneer Hi-Bred, Syngenta, Monsanto, Slow Food Oahu, and HARC. Questions from another three agencies (CTAHR, Hawaii Cattlemen’s Council, Inc., and Pork Promotion) were not included since the exhibits were not displayed during the entire duration of the Farm Fair.

The participants were instructed to find answers to all of the questions posted in exhibits throughout the grounds of the Farm Fair and return the completed game questionnaires to the HARC booth by 2:00PM on Sunday, July 25. Those with 100% correct answers were entered into a drawing at 3:00PM on Sunday, July 25. A total of 24 $50.00 gift cards (eight each from Ala Moana Shopping Center, GameStop, and iTune) were donated by Pioneer Hi-Bred.

Approximately 650 game sheets were handed out, 266 completed sheets were returned, and 195 were 100% correct. Twenty-four winners were drawn from the 195 who scored 100%:
