“Rediscovering Agriculture,” there are opportunities
to “rediscover” our incredible local growers/producers
of fresh, local food products as well as learn and engage in
other agriculture related areas such as aquaculture and hydroponics. |

Ag-Challenge

Back by popular
demand at the 2010 Hawaii State Farm Fair is a game designed
to teach attendees about agriculture in Hawaii. Participants
pick up a question sheet and search for theanswers on posters
placed throughout the Farm Fair. It’s a scavenger hunt
of sorts. Historical time lines, facts about coffee, chocolate,
taro, livestock and scientific research fill many posters with
photos, facts and stories. |
